Unreal Translator handles business documents, media localisation, certified translations, software strings, and multilingual SEO content. Based in Campania, working with clients across Italy and internationally since 2017.
Unreal Translator was founded by Giovanna Ferrante in Sessa Aurunca in 2017. Before starting the agency, Giovanna worked as a legal translator for a Caserta law firm and later as an in-house localisation manager for a Naples software company. Both backgrounds shaped how the agency operates: we think about translation as a practical business problem, not just a linguistic one.
The agency specialises in six service areas: business and commercial translation, media and content localisation, certified and notarial translation, software and app localisation, remote interpretation, and multilingual SEO. Each area has its own translator panel, assembled around subject expertise rather than language availability alone.
We work with clients throughout Italy and internationally, all delivered digitally. Our core language pairs centre on Italian as source or target, paired with English, German, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, Portuguese, and seventeen other languages.

A Caserta-area clothing manufacturer expanding into Germany and the UK needed translation of product specifications, compliance declarations, care label text, and export documentation. 68,000 words across 18 months. German buyers confirmed the documentation met expectations for the market.
A Naples SaaS startup expanding into France, UK, and Spain needed complete UI localisation. 6,400 strings across three languages in XLIFF format. Post-launch: support tickets from French users reduced 28% in the first quarter compared to the Italian user base.
A Caserta law firm with international clients commissioned certified translations of 55 documents over two years. Immigration cases, corporate acquisitions, inheritance proceedings. No document was rejected by any authority on grounds of translation quality.
We have worked with Unreal Translator for three years on export documentation and commercial contracts. The German buyer relationships have been straightforward because the documentation is right. That is the correct standard and it is what they deliver.
The French localisation reduced our support volume in France noticeably after launch. The strings were not just translated — they were adapted for how French users actually read software interfaces. That is the difference.
Certified translations from Unreal Translator have been accepted without issue by every Italian public authority we have used them with. The documentation is correct, the turnaround is reliable, and they advise us when we ask the wrong question.
We reply within one business day with a fixed quote. No guesswork.
